CHARITY HOPE VALENTINE - Beth Peach-Robinson

Beth has enjoyed performing from a very early age and has been singing and dancing for as long as she can remember! She trained at the Taggart School of Dance to the age of 11. Beth is currently studying at Wolverhampton Girls' High School and taking her 'A' levels later this year. She has also performed with a youth theatre company based in Cannock and the Central Youth Theatre. In 2005 she had the leading role of Eliza Doolittle in her school production of My Fair Lady. Beth joined Muscom in 2006 for Thoroughly Modern Millie and played Mabel in our production of Fame in September 2007. Beth says she love being a member of Muscom and is both thrilled and very excited to be playing the part of Charity, her first leading role with Muscom. She would like to thank the company for making her feel so welcome in the last year,and for all the help and support they have given her. She would also like to thank her Mom and Dad for always being there and for being so supportive! One day she hopes to further her passion for performing professionally, watch this space!

HELENE - Pascale Rollings

Pascale has danced since she was 3 and spent 14 years training and gaining grades with MARILYN HARRIS SCHOOL OF DANCE Wolverhampton in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Pascale joined Muscom when she was 10 years old to take part in the annual Summer Shows. In 2002 she auditioned and became a dancer in GUYS AND DOLLS, continuing in COPACABANA, 42ND STREET, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and FAME. Her first principle role was Emma in HALF A SIXPENCE, followed by the part of Patsy in CRAZY FOR YOU. Pascale is really looking forward to this new challenging role as Helene in this great 60's musical.

NICKIE - Kimberley Robinson

Kimberley has been singing, dancing and performing since the tender age of 3 years and has appeared in many musical productions with her Dancing School in Penn. She joined Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company in 1994 and has appeared as a dancer in MACK AND MABEL, OKLAHOMA, GUYS AND DOLLS and COPACABANA. Her first leading role was as Phyllis Dale in 42nd STREET, followed by Kate in HALF A SIXPENCE, Tess in CRAZY FOR YOU and Gloria in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Kimmy is very proud of her longstanding family connections with Muscom and is looking forward to playing the part of Nickie this year and is enjoying the challenge of Dance Captain again.

HERMAN - Eric Page

Joined the company in 1983 for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF as a Russian Soldier and has since played many parts including: Horace Vandergelder HELLO DOLLY, Chitterton HALF A SIXPENCE, Pawnee Bill ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Hines PYJAMA GAME, Gangster KISS ME KATE, Moonface Martin ANYTHING GOES, Francis Beckman GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, Abner Dillon 42ND STREET, Luther Billis SOUTH PACIFIC, Rattlesnake CALAMITY JANE, Eugene Foder (twice) CRAZY FOR YOU and Carshot HALF A SIXPENCE. Eric is also a member of Bilston Operatic Company since 1966, some of his favourite parts being: Mr Bumble OLIVER, Nicely Nicely Johnson GUYS AND DOLLS, Captain Andy SHOWBOAT, Alfred Doolittle MY FAIR LADY, President Roosevelt (twice) ANNIE, The Mayor MUSIC MAN, Sir John ME & MY GIRL, Captain Bracket and Stewpot SOUTH PACIFIC, Mr Fezziwig SCROOGE, The King SLIPPER & THE ROSE and Mr Wardle PICKWICK .

MARVIN - Chris Morris

Christopher's first show with Muscom was back in 1996 playing Will Rodgers Jr in WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, there after he appeared in numerous shows at the Grand and Summer Shows including, GUYS AND DOLLS, MACK AND MABEL and COPACABANA. May 1996 Christopher appeared in the Wolverhampton leg of the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA. In September 1999, Christopher went to Thomas Telford School where he gained a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts playing roles such as Nick Piazza in FAME and Vittorio Vidal in SWEET CHARITY. In 2003 Christopher went on to work at the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings Hotel as a resdient entertainer, 2004 saw Christopher further a field, working in Alcudia, Mallorca at the Sea Club Resort as a Production Vocalist. In 2005, Christopher went on to work for Princess Cruises as an Assistant Cruise Director, cruising Alaska and the Caribbean. 2006 saw Christopher come back to dry land where he took a job with the E3 Group and was appointed as a Production ManagerA/ocalist, providing evening entertainment for First Choice 'prestigious Holiday Village' in Turkey, Costa Del Sol and Lanzarote. Christopher is Glad to be back home and back with muscom for this the 70th Anniversary production of SWEET CHARITY and is hoping to attend Mountview Theatre School in London this September.

VITTORIO VIDAL - Nicholas Sullivan

Nick's first performance with MusCom was his flamboyant portrayal of Harry Chitterlow in the award winning HALF A SIXPENCE in 2004. This was soon followed by another eccentric theatrical type Bella Zangler in CRAZY FOR YOU. This year he makes it a 'dramatic' hat trick playing international movie star Vittorio Vidal! Bravo! Other favourite lead roles have to be the title role in Bilston Operatic Company's Grand Theatre premiere of the highly successful production of SCROOGE, the Pirate King - PIRATES OF PENZANCE also with Bilston, closely followed by the evergreen role of Lord Evelyn Oakley in both versions of the smash hit ANYTHING GOES which he has reprised four times to date with other leading Amateur Companies in the Midlands. He recently had the privilege of playing Paul in WBOS' acclaimed production of A CHORUS LINE. Nick has also had the honour of working with the internationally commended Kaleidoscope Theatre Company.

URSULA - Samantha Strutt

Samantha has been performing since the age of eight as a member of both Central Youth Theatre and Manchester Youth Theatre. When she was fourteen she joined the Birmingham Symphony Youth Chorus and performed in many concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, St David's Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. She currently studies singing with Tenence Bailey and has been guest soloist with Penn singers and The Friday Night Choir. Samantha's recent theatre work includes playing Hildy in ON THE TOWN, Donna/Oolie in CITY OF ANGELS, Andrew' in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and understudy Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS, all at the University of Birmingham. She has also played Salty Bowles in CABARET. Samantha's first show with MUSCOM was 2007, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE when she played Dorothy Brown.

OSCAR LINDQUIST - Chris Wolverson

Chris joined the company in 1997 for SOUTH PACIFIC in the role of Lt. Joseph Cable. Since then he has played a variety of roles including Curly OKLAHOMA, Sky Masterson GUYS AND DOLLS and Trevor Graydon THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Chris made his stage debut in 1976 in OLIVER and some of his favourite roles for other companies include Wild Bill Hickock CALAMITY JANE, Perchik FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Judas GODSPELL, Gerald AN INSPECTOR CALLS, Sebastian TWELFTH NIGHT, Goethe FREDERICA and Captain Barton TEN TIMES TABLE. Currently rehearsing Dafydd Llewellyn A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL for Goldthorn Theatre Company and has been MD for Albrighton Operatic Company for several years. Off stage he can be found as a marshal for motor racing events.

MOMMA BRUBECK - Natalie Cooper

Natalie became involved with theatre at 5yrs of age, appearing in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Mrs Salt. At 13yrs of age she joined Punch Theatre Company where she performed mainly as a dancer. She performed her first solo song with Punch in a production of Grease. Natalie went on to singing in talent competitions around the UK and taking part in various auditions where she was frequently successful. In 2001, she began her career as a solo vocalist, performing at venues around the Midlands, including The Molineux with an audience of 27,000. Natalie joined Muscom in March 2007 and played Ms Greta Bell in the September production of Fame The Musical.

ROSIE - Jayne Blakemore

Jayne started dancing at the age of 4 at Roma Weekes School of Dance, whereshe studied tap, ballet and acrobatics. She joined MUSCOM as a dancer in Crazy For You in 1998. Other shows she has appeared in as a dancer are Oklahoma, Cabaret, My Fair Lady and The King and I. Principal roles include: Anytime Annie 42ND STREET (with Muscom and South Staffs Musical Theatre Company), Lottie MACK AND MABEL, Sally Smith ME AND MY GIRL, Poopsie THE PAJAMA GAME, Flo Bates HALF A SIXPENCE, Muzzy Van Hossmere THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and Miss Sherman FAME. Her first lead role with the Company in 2006 was Polly in CRAZY FOR YOU which she enjoyed immensely (her favourite part to date). Minor roles include: Kit Kat Girl/Telephone Girl CABARET, and Servant/Flower Girl MY FAIR LADY. She has also taken part in many concerts, reviews and summer shows and would like to thank her family for all their support.

CHARLIE - David Walters

David joined the company in 2006 for the Summer Show and was a member of the chorus for last year's production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. His first principal role was in last Septembers production of FAME at Smestow School, playing the part of Schlomo Metzenbaum. Other previous roles include Aladdin in St. Paul's Church Pantomime and John Worthing in St. Peters School production of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.
